O Miradouro da Rocha do Navio está localizada no norte da Ilha da Madeira, no Concelho de Santana. O nome Rocha do Navio provém do naufrágio de uma escuna de nacionalidade holandesa que ocorreu no século XIX, em consequência de ventos fortes. Em 1997 criada a Reserva Natural para evitar a degradação progressiva dos recursos pesqueiros provocada pelo uso de redes de emalhar e de explosivos. Junto ao mar existe uma fajã e o principal acesso faz-se através do por uma vereda escarpada na rocha ou por teleférico. Na Fajã existe uma Estação de Observação e vigilância do serviço do Parque Natural da Madeira, assim como, um espaço de exposições destinado à educação ambiental. Esta Reserva está integrada na Rede Natura 2000.
The Rocha do Navio viewpoint is located in the north of Madeira Island, Municipality of Santana. The name comes from the wreck of a schooner of Dutch nationality that occurred in the nineteenth century, because of strong winds. In 1997 established the Natural Reserve to prevent the gradual deterioration of fish stocks caused by the use of gill nets and explosives. By the sea there is a fajã the main entrance is made through a steep path in the rock or by cable car. In Faja there is an Observation Station where there is a monitoring service and Parque Natural da Madeira as well as an exhibition space for environmental education. This reserve is part of the Rede Natura 2000.
